Elena Peony, MLE
Attorney at law, specialist areas juvenile law and migration law
Elena Peony studied law at the Leibniz University in Hanover and Aristoteles University in Thessaloniki and has been a lawyer since 1997. She has completed her legal clerkship at the regional court in Hechingen and in Thessaloniki. Since then she has worked in several law firms. She has been running her own law firm since 2010, first in Coburg and since 2016 in Tübingen.
In addition, Ms. Peony has experience in European and non-European countries. For example, during a year abroad in 2014, she trained in restorative justice at the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Ms. Peony was a lecturer in social law at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
She has two adult sons and enjoys spending her free time in nature. One of her hobbies is mountain biking.
